You’re not alone—and you’re not disqualified. Many pastors feel the weight of leadership in this area, especially when they’re still growing in it themselves. To help you get started, here are some strategies we recommend:
  1. Be honest with your church – Tell them this is something you’re diving into with them. Authenticity builds trust and transparency—you’re in this together.
  2. Start with one conversation – Ask God for one opportunity each week to share your faith—remember that small steps help grow confidence.
  3. Lean on the tools – Use our GO Day resources to learn alongside your church.
  4. Model a teachable spirit – When your church sees you gearing up for GO Day, they’ll be inspired to do the same.

We believe that ONE story is worth celebrating. In fact, we have countless testimonies of how one person’s actions helped save a life on GO Day.
Although we want everyone to get involved on June 7th, we also want you and your church to use GO Day as a starting point, not a one-time event. GO Day is really a kickstarter to a new lifestyle—one where people are ready to share Jesus with anyone who will listen.

We know it doesn’t take long for church calendars to fill up during the year. So, don’t think of GO Day as “adding” more work or pressure on your church. Think of it as an opportunity to refocus on the mission we’re all called to: sharing Jesus with the world.
Try to keep it simple—invite your church to share their faith in everyday moments—at work, with neighbors, or online. Then, try to integrate GO Day into what you’re already doing (i.e., Sunday sermons, small groups, community outreach, etc.).

Not as much as you might think. GO Day is designed to be simple and flexible. Even a short mention during a Sunday service, a quick church email, or a social media post can make a big difference.
This doesn’t have to take over your calendar—it’s about making space for your church to live out The Great Commission in real, everyday ways.
A small investment of time can lead to life-changing impact.
